Southwest view from Sather Gate/GBC area down into Student Student Center. From left to right: MLK Jr. Student Union, Eshleman Hall (newly built), Zellerbach, Cesar Chavez. The new design would feature a cutaway in Chavez, opening up the view from Upper Sproul to Lower Sproul, encouraging shared traffic and activity.
